Emanuel M. Cohen

Emanuel Maurice Cohen, known as Morris, lived in Brooklyn, NY, from November 5, 1892 to November 20, 1981. He was one of twelve children born to English immigrants who arrived in the United States in 1890. Morris was a veteran of World War I, attaining the rank of sergeant.

He worked in a jewelry store. In addition to poetry, Morris enjoyed painting, photography, woodworking, music, and the Brooklyn Dodgers.
